How it works

Five steps. One smooth, beautiful surface.

01

Free inspection & written estimate

We come out, look at the pool, and give you a written estimate — no charge, no obligation. If we spot anything that needs attention (cracks, damaged fittings, plumbing issues), we tell you before any work begins.

02

Drain & surface prep

We drain the pool, chip out the old plaster only where it is loose or deteriorated, repair cracks, and apply a bond coat that acts as a primer for proper adhesion of the new finish.

03

Plaster application

Our experienced crew hand-trowels the new plaster with consistent coverage, sharp edges, and clean lines around every fitting, light, and step.

04

Curing & water startup

We perform the water startup: add acid to lower the pH, apply metal control, and hand you a written guide with care and maintenance instructions for the following 30 days.

05

Final walkthrough

Quality inspection, written *warranty, and care instructions. We are available for any questions during the first 30 days.

Beyond the surface

New plaster only lasts if the pool underneath is sound

A leak that goes unfound will eat through a fresh plaster job in a season. Water gets behind the surface, breaks the bond, and within a year you're replastering again. We've seen it too many times.

If we spot anything concerning during the free inspection — active leaks, damaged plumbing, cracked fittings — we tell you upfront. Leak detection is a separate service we offer if and when it's needed. Many plastering projects don't need it. For the ones that do, we handle the detection and the repair ourselves before the new surface goes on.

One crew, one project, one warranty. No subcontracting the leak to someone else. We handle the whole job.

Honest inspection

We tell you what we find. If your pool doesn't need extra work, we say so.

Hand-troweled finish

Experienced plaster crew, not sprayed-on. Sharp edges, consistent coverage, clean lines.

One warranty, one crew

No finger-pointing between contractors. We own the whole project.

Is it time?

8 signs you need to replaster

If you notice two or more of these, call us for a free assessment.

Rough, sandpaper-like surface — plaster is eroding and exposing aggregate

Permanent stains that won't brush off — chemical or mineral damage

Visible cracks, flaking, or chipping — water is getting behind the surface

Chalky residue in the water — active plaster breakdown

Discoloration, fading, or blotchy areas — UV damage over time

Etching or pitting — low pH or improper water chemistry has eaten the surface

Peeling or bubbling — water trapped beneath the finish

Stains appearing soon after fill — new plaster didn't cure correctly

Water loss plus surface damage together usually means there's a leak under the surface waiting to happen. Call us first.

Not sure if it's time to replaster?

We'll come out, look at the surface, and tell you honestly whether you need a full replaster, a patch, or just a chemistry adjustment. Free, no pressure.

Plaster options

White, colored, and quartz finishes

Each finish has a different look, feel, and lifespan. We help you pick what matches your pool, your budget, and how long you plan to stay in the home.

Colored Plaster

Plaster base with pigment added for blue, gray, or custom tones. A deeper water color and the same durability as standard plaster. Popular shades: Tahoe Blue, French Gray, Ocean Blue.

Quartz Aggregate

Colored quartz crystals mixed into the plaster for superior stain resistance and a subtle sparkle. Smoother than pebble, lasts 15–20 years.

We work with NPT, CLI, and Pebble Tec. Want to see samples in person? We'll bring them to the consultation.

Common questions

Frequently asked

How long does pool plastering take? +

Most pool plastering projects take 3–7 days from drain to swim-ready. That includes draining (1 day), surface preparation (1–2 days), plaster application (1 day), and curing/water balancing (2–4 days). Weather and finish choice can shift the timeline slightly.

What types of plaster do you offer? +

We offer two standard plaster options: colored plaster (plaster base with pigment added for blue, gray, or custom tones) and quartz aggregate (colored quartz crystals mixed into the plaster for extra durability and a subtle sparkle). Both are commercial-grade materials from trusted manufacturers.

How much does pool plastering cost in Orlando? +

Pool plastering in Orlando typically costs $5,800+ for colored plaster and $4,500+ for quartz aggregate. The exact price depends on pool size, shape, surface condition, and accessibility. We provide a free written estimate after the inspection.

When should I replaster my pool? +

Most pools need replastering every 10–15 years (colored) or 15–20 years (quartz). Warning signs include a rough sandpaper texture, permanent staining, visible cracks, chalky water, and exposed aggregate. If you notice two or more of these, call for a free assessment.

Should I choose plaster or pebble? +

Plaster is more affordable upfront and has a smoother feel underfoot. Pebble lasts longer (20+ years) and is more stain-resistant but has a textured surface. Quartz aggregate is a middle ground — smoother than pebble, more durable than plaster. We'll walk you through samples and pros/cons at your free consultation.

Can you plaster over existing plaster? +

Yes, in many cases. As long as the existing plaster is structurally sound (no major delamination, no hollow spots, no severe cracking), we can bond-coat over it and apply a fresh layer. If the old plaster is failing extensively, full removal is the better long-term answer. We evaluate this at the free inspection.

How long before I can swim after replastering? +

Typically 5–7 days for filling and chemical balancing. We give you exact timing at completion and provide the full startup chemistry schedule. Swimming too soon can damage curing plaster, so we wait until the surface is ready.

Will replastering fix a leak? +

Surface leaks at the plaster — yes, replastering seals them. Other types of leaks (plumbing, skimmer, light niche, underground pipes) need separate repair. If we suspect a leak during the inspection, we recommend addressing it before the new plaster goes on so the new surface isn't compromised. Leak detection is a separate service quoted based on scope.
