How it works
01
We come out, look at the pool, and give you a written estimate — no charge, no obligation. If we spot anything that needs attention (a leak, plumbing issue, damaged fitting), we tell you before any work begins.
02
We drain the pool, remove loose or deteriorated plaster only where necessary, repair cracks, and apply a bond coat that acts as a primer for proper adhesion of the new finish.
03
If your project includes new waterline tile, we install the upper edge tile ring at this stage — before the finish goes on — so the new surface bonds cleanly to the tile edge.
04
Our team applies your chosen finish — plaster, quartz, pebble, or tile — with consistent coverage and attention to every detail: edges, corners, fittings.
05
We perform the pool startup: add acid to lower the pH, apply metal control, and hand you a written guide with care and maintenance instructions for the following 30 days.
06
Quality inspection, written *warranty, and care instructions. We are available for any questions during the first 30 days.
Resurfacing alone isn't the full fix
A pool leak that goes unfound will eat through a new plaster job in a season. Water gets behind the surface, breaks the bond, and within a year you're resurfacing again. We've seen it too many times.
If we spot anything concerning during the free inspection — active leaks, damaged plumbing, cracked fittings — we tell you upfront. Leak detection is a separate service we offer if and when it's needed. Many resurfacing projects don't need it. For the ones that do, we handle the detection and the repair ourselves before the new surface goes on.
One crew, one project, one warranty. No subcontracting the leak to someone else. We handle the whole job.
We tell you what we find. If your pool doesn't need extra work, we say so.
If a leak is found, we fix it before resurfacing. Done in-house, no subcontracting.
No finger-pointing between contractors. We own the whole project.
Is it time?
If you notice two or more of these, call us for a free assessment.
Rough, sandpaper-like surface — plaster is eroding and exposing aggregate
Permanent stains that won't brush off — chemical or mineral damage
Cracks or flaking — water is getting behind the surface
Chalky residue in the water — active plaster breakdown
Discoloration or fading — UV damage over time
Water loss + surface damage together — likely a leak underneath
Peeling or bubbling — water trapped beneath the finish
Visible rebar or concrete — severe structural damage, urgent
Water loss plus surface damage together usually means there's a leak under the new surface waiting to happen. Call us first.
We'll walk you through plaster, quartz, pebble, and tile during your free consultation — with samples, lifespan data, and a written estimate. No pressure.
Finish options
Each finish has a different look, feel, and lifespan. We help you pick what matches your pool, your budget, and how long you plan to stay in the home.
Colored quartz mixed into the plaster. More durable and stain-resistant than standard plaster, with a subtle sparkle.
Plaster base with pigment added for blue, gray, or custom tones. A deeper water color and the same durability as standard plaster.
Natural exposed pebble finish. The longest-lasting option, with a textured, premium look. Slightly rougher on feet. Warranty depends on the manufacturer*.
Smaller pebbles for a smoother feel underfoot. More comfortable to walk on than full pebble. Warranty depends on the manufacturer*.
Pebble base with glass bead accents. The most premium look — extra sparkle and color depth for luxury pools.
Fully tiled surface. The most durable and luxurious option, with endless design possibilities. Highest upfront cost.
We work with NPT, CLI, and Pebble Tec. Want to see samples in person? We'll bring them to the consultation.

Common questions
2–3 weeks from start to finish, depending on pool size, finish type, and weather. Plaster cures fastest; pebble and tile take a bit longer. We give you a precise timeline at the free estimate so you can plan around it.
It depends on pool size, finish choice, and the condition of the existing surface. Plaster is the most affordable, pebble and tile are premium. We provide a free written estimate after the inspection — no obligation, no pressure.
Any season works in Central Florida, but the cooler, drier months (November through March) give the best curing conditions. That said, summer jobs are common and we adjust the chemistry accordingly. The best time is when you're ready — we'll make it work.
White and colored plaster: 10–15 years. Quartz: 15–20. Pebble and mini pebble: lifetime warranty available in some cases. Glass tile: 20+ years. Proper water chemistry and maintenance extend any finish's life significantly. We give you written care instructions at the final walkthrough.
Yes. We do texture coatings, paint, and full deck resurfacing. If you're resurfacing the pool, it's a great time to do the deck at the same time — one project, one crew, one permit.
We work with NPT, CLI, and Pebble Tec. All are commercial-grade, warrantied, and trusted across the industry. We'll walk you through the pros and cons of each at the consultation.
Many small repairs are included — crack patching, surface prep, and waterline tile installation (when part of the project). Larger repairs like underground plumbing, skimmer replacement, or leak detection are quoted separately if and when they're needed. The free estimate spells out exactly what's included.
If a leak becomes apparent during the project, we handle it in-house — same crew, no subcontracting. The detection cost is quoted separately based on the scope. We don't include it in every resurfacing, only the ones that need it. Once detected, the repair is typically done before the new surface goes on so the new finish isn't compromised.
Free written estimate, no obligation. Tell us about your pool and we'll be in touch within one business day.

*Lifetime warranty is available only when Pebble Tec brand finish is installed. All warranties are provided through Smart Leak Locator and vary depending on the manufacturer of the materials used in the project (for example, PebbleTec and other manufacturers). The applicable warranty is included with the project estimate and is determined by the specific finish and materials selected for your renovation.
